Election 2010 Highlights of the day

Compliment of the day

Having left to all the difficulty of subsidy a ostensible winning horse, Rupert Murdochs Cameron-supporting Sun contingency be mightily unhappy that the own check right away shows that electorate cite Nick Clegg. So disappointed, in fact, that the organ urges them to be realistic: "We are electing a Prime Minister. We need someone critical and with substance."

PR attempt of the day

Public-relations supremo and lifelong Tory Peter Bingle has finished it again. Hes right away tapped out a memo aggressive the choosing debate plan as "the majority unhandy in vital memory", and says John Major could spin out to be "the last Tory PM". His master plan? Get Ken Clarke "on the TV screens each morning, noon and night". That"ll win "em round.

Positive debate of the day

One Labour leaflet, circulated in Birmingham, bears the mugshots of convicted rapists, murderers and kid abusers and beneficial reminders that the Lib Dems wish to "give them the vote".

Optimist of the day

Trouble-making rumours everywhere (hat-tip to the Guido Fawkes blog) that Alistair Darling has since up goal already. Apparently he has already proposed the routine of make-up up his things and relocating out of No 11.
